"Hey, babe, I'm headed to the store. Want anything?" You looked over from your spot on the couch to see your husband standing in the doorway.
"I can't think of anything right now," you responded, shaking your head. Alfred walked over to you and bent at the waist to give you a kiss. He pulled away and headed out.
"Kay, babe. Call me if you think of something." You made a noise of acknowledgement as you heard the front door close. You waited a few minutes before bolting upstairs to the bedroom you both shared. After rifling through your dresser, you pulled out a small package and rushed into the bathroom, locking the door behind you.
In your trembling hands you held a box of pregnancy tests. As happy as you would be to have a child with Alfred, you two had never discussed children, so you weren't sure if he'd be happy if you ended up being pregnant.
As you got one of the sticks out, you couldn't help but feel glad that Alfred wasn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. You'd been feeling sick for almost two weeks, and it never once occurred to him that you may be pregnant.
You finished your business and set the test on the sink, anxiously biting your lip as you waited the recommended time for the best results. You fidgeted and paced around the floor, continually peeking into the bedroom at the clock.
Finally, the right time passed and you snatched up the test. When you saw the double pink lines, you weren't sure whether to laugh or cry. You were going to have a baby…You were going to have a baby!!!
You collapsed onto the floor, staring at nothing. What would Alfred say? Part of you thought he would be ecstatic, but in your frazzled state you didn't think that was possible. Your nervous side kept pushing the idea around your head that he would be upset.
You heard the front door open again and nearly had a heart attack.
"What kind of shopping trip only takes half an hour," you muttered darkly, standing up and throwing away the used test and hiding the rest. You sighed and rubbed the back of your neck, debating on when to tell him. You decided it'd be easier to just tell him now, because you'd just end up blurting it out at the wrong time if you didn't.
"(Name), I'm back!" You cringed as you heard him yell up the stairs. Unlocking the bathroom door, you slowly walked out and began heading downstairs.
"Y-yeah, I know!" Alfred poked his head around the corner and watched you descend the stairs.
"Something wrong, babe?"
"I'm not sure…," Alfred quickly went over to you and wrapped you in his arms.
"Do you want to tell me what's bothering you?" A shaky sigh flew past your lips as you whispered the news to him.
"I'm pregnant."
It felt like ages that you two were standing there. Alfred hadn't said a word, which could be bad. But he hadn't pushed you away in disgust or anything, which could be good. Taking a risk, you peeked up at him to see the blankest face you'd ever seen on him.
"A-Al? A-are you upset?" His eyes slowly traveled to meet yours before the hugest grin spread across his features. He picked you up and swung you in circles, laughing hysterically.
"WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!" he screamed for the whole world to hear. You started laughing and crying out of relief and excitement.
"I was so worried you wouldn't want this," you said after he set you down.
"Why would you think that?" he asked, tilting his head to the side cutely.
"It's just…we've never talked about having kids. I assumed we would one day, but I wasn't sure you'd think we were ready. For all I know, you may have wanted to wait a while longer."
"No, no, no! I've been hoping for this for at least half a year!" You buried your face in his chest, unable to contain the excited grin that refused to leave your face.
"We're having a baby, Al. We're really having a baby." Alfred tucked your head under his chin and squeezed you.
"I hope it's a girl," he said.
"Why's that?"
"Cause then she'll be an all-American girl, who'll look just as beautiful as her mother." You flushed and giggled into his neck.
"And if it's a boy?"
"Then he'll be an all-American dude, who'll be a hero, just like his dad!" You laughed and slipped your fingers into his.
"So no matter what, we're having an all-American baby," you summed up.
"Totally, babe! Oh man, this is gonna be awesome! I can't wait til the kid's born!"
"You still have almost nine months to wait, Al, so you better not get too excited."
"But I can't help it!" he whined. You were about to respond until Alfred jerked away from you and ran upstairs.
"TIME TO LOOK AT BABY NAMES!!" he shouted as he dashed to find his laptop. You started laughing and plopped down on the sofa. What reason could you possibly have had to be worried?

"How about Alfred Jr.!~" Your boyfriend practicly scremed. You moved a strand of (h/c) hair out of your face and turned to your obnoxius, childish boyfriend.
"Babe," You tried to sound clam, but it wasn't really working out. "You said that name three times already! And, once again no!" You and your boyfriend, Alfred, were picking out baby names. You were already 6 months along, and two weeks ago you two found that you were having a

Country X Reader: A Little Misfit (America)
Halfway down the hallway, you heard footsteps behind you and you turned around to see......
......America.....
'Great, just what I need! The most obnoxious country on the face of the earth to come and bother me too! As if I didn't have enough already!' you thought.
You stood there and glared at him.
"What do YOU want?" you asked grumpily.
He just smiled and said "I heard your outburst as I was walking by your classroom, I just came to see-"
"Just go away!" you said, cutting him short.
He decided to ignore you and finish his statement, he was completely unfazed.
He continued, "As I was saying, I just came to see if you were okay." He g
